Support plans
Three ways to get help
A monthly retainer means someone is already watching your site — updates applied, security checked, and issues handled before they turn into outages. Every plan is one experienced person with 25+ years of building and maintaining websites, without the agency overhead priced on top. Treat these as starting points: hours and scope can be adjusted to fit your site, or scaled to cover several sites under one agreement.

Common questions
Questions people ask before signing
What people want to know before handing over their site — what maintenance actually covers, what it costs, and what happens when something goes wrong. Answered plainly, so you don’t have to ask.
Do I need a website maintenance plan?
If your site captures leads, bookings, or payments, yes. Themes and plugins update constantly, and the gap between updates and it being applied is where most sites get broken into. A plan means someone is applying those updates, watching security, and fixing small issues before they become outages.
What is included in website maintenance?
Theme and plugin updates, security monitoring, backups and restore, uptime and performance checks, small content edits and bug fixes, and a quarterly look at your analytics, page speed, and accessibility. The larger plans add heat-map tracking and time for team walkthroughs and training.
How much does website maintenance cost?
Plans here run $150, $500, and $1,000 a month, separated mainly by how many hours are included and how much proactive review comes with them. Agencies commonly charge two to three times that for the same scope, largely to cover account management layers. You’re paying for the work, not the org chart.
What happens if my website gets hacked?
I restore it from a clean backup, close whatever was used to get in, and then tell you plainly what happened and what changed. Compromise backup restore is included in every plan, because it’s the one thing you cannot afford to be quoted hourly for in the middle of an emergency.
How fast will you respond when something breaks?
Support hours are Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Eastern. Anything that is actually down gets looked at first, ahead of scheduled work. Routine requests are handled inside your plan’s hours, usually the same or next business day.
Do you support sites you didn’t build?
Yes. Most support clients arrive with a site someone else built. The first step is a short audit of the platform, hosting, plugins, and backups so I know what I’m inheriting — after that it’s maintained like any other site on a plan.
Can you maintain more than one website?
Yes. Each plan is a starting point, and hours can be pooled across several sites under one agreement. If you run multiple brands or locations, that is usually less expensive than a separate plan per site.
Is hosting included in the monthly fee?
No. Hosting, domains, and platform subscriptions stay in your name and are billed to you directly, so you always own the accounts. I manage them on your behalf and tell you when something is overpriced or duplicated.
What if I only need help once in a while?
The smallest plan exists for exactly that — an hour a month, held on retainer so you have someone on call rather than starting cold each time. If a month stays quiet, that time still goes to updates and monitoring.
Can I cancel or change plans later?
Yes. There is no long-term contract. Plans are month to month, and you can move up or down as the site’s needs change — a busy launch quarter followed by a quieter one is normal.
